WE WILL NOT GO SILENTLY INTO THE NIGHT

"Violence against women continues to persist as one of the most heinous, systematic and prevalent human rights abuses in the world."

Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary General

Women today are living in a society where there is a constant threat to their being. The enemy is not just outside but also within the so called safety of their homes in various forms. At least two cases of kidnapping and one of molestation are reported daily.12 women commit suicide every month and as many are killed for dowry. Till November, 2008, end, 140 women were murdered, 411 raped, 350 molested and over 600 kidnapped. And this is the situation of Punjab alone. Imagine the plight of women all over the world. 6 out of 10 rapes reported by victims have occurred in their own home or home of a friend, relative or neighbor. 3 million women across the UK experience rape, domestic violence, forced marriage, trafficking, or other violence each year.In the United States of America, the so called Big Brother and a front player for forming world policies, there has been a 42-percent increase in reported domestic violence and a 25-percent increase in the reported incidence of rape and sexual assault in the past two years. The National Crime Victimization Survey (U.S.A.), says that at least 248,300 individuals were raped or sexually assaulted in 2007 which is up from 190,600 in 2005.

It seems that all we hear these days is reports of rape, molestation and domestic violence. Open the newspaper and the only kind of headlines common are those related to violation of women rights. Switch on the television and you see the same scenario. The situation is worsening with each passing day. Amidst all these nightmarish incidents, there are many debates as to the role of women in these attacks. Were the women to blame (a third of people believe women who flirt are partially responsible for being raped )? Should they be held responsible? Did they invite trouble by dressing in a particular way, being at a particular place or even speaking a particular phrase(one fourth said that they thought a women was partially or totally responsible for being raped if she was wearing sexy or revealing clothing)? Amidst all this debate, my blood boils and I want to scream out loud for these ludicrous justifications to stop.

Women do not ask to be molested, or invite trouble. Pointing fingers and absolving perpetrators of sexual crimes, is not getting us anywhere. I refuse to take the blame for years of guilt and shame that I, as a woman, felt for something that I did not invite, condone or enjoy! It DISGUSTS me to see that in a nation where goddess Saraswati, goddess Lakshmi and goddess Durga are worshipped, there a human Saraswati, human Lakshmi and human Durga are abused and people are indifferent about their situation!

raam bhaiya and bhojpuri.............

raam bhaiya a name which is very common in the student of the g.n.i.t college but not for this video and the hidden tallent of writting or singing such a song but for the "CDX coffe waale bhaiya "but he is really a very tallented man who wrot many other songs also along with this song and he was also saying that his song is going to be release in few months.
but no one knows what will happen with his dreams

in the journey of ..........................

some times in the life we feel that we have every thing but some of the moments are enough to break the misconceptions, some time really we feel helpless when we are not able in making some one to understand what exactly i wanna say really very helpless situation but there is our fault if we are not able in making any one understand our feeling because there is limited rules of life. we only care about those persons to whom we really love and people says that your words didn't hurt me because i love u so much but they are completely wrong the people whim we love more hurts more because if we didn't love someone then we don't care about what he/she is saying.

naksali and their power.........

recently we have red the cases of naksali's attack.but one thing to notice what the want to show us, the common people? they want to show us that or protectors itself are not safe then how can we people be safe they are challenging the government but we r still not doing anything.what should be the reason of these attack or mass killing of the CRPF jawans are they careless ,or not trained properly,or useless ,or not getting the facilities properly ,not getting the arms.
one of our leading newspaper says that our CRPF jawans are not getting the the food properly and they are facing hunger.
what our government is doing such a big question to ask ? but the other big question is that who will ask dis question, the one who is in opposition or who is in the government ,ans is no one.because the one who is in government is completely concentrated how to to save the chair n remain in the power and the other who is in opposition is completely concentrate how any how capture the chair at any coast either it is right or wrong doesn't matter.the politicians to whom we have given the power to run the government properly the one who is ruining the country.
it is today 3-4 days but nothing has come out how and who is responsible to these attacks this is the only reasons why they the getting promotions useless politicians have buried previous attack and that comes again in this form and we lost 40-50 CRPF jawans 30-or 40 lives means nothing to any one .
but one interesting thing is here if one of the doggy or pets lost of the chief minister or prime minister then that must be founded in two or three days .
if we will not take any action this time then this will again coast many of the lives so our shameless government should take any action .
